City of Torrance – Letter of Support for Investigation on Health Inequity Among the Japanese American Community

Torrance City Councilmember Jon Kaji from District 1 received support from his colleagues on the City Council at the July 11, 2023 meeting to join him in urging Los Angeles County, State, and the Department of Justice to investigate a disproportionate number of deaths among the elderly Japanese patients living in nursing homes throughout the Los Angeles and South Bay region.
